Opal

This scroll is modeled very closely after a medieval calendar page from the Grandes Heures d'Anne de Bretagne, 1505. The recipient was the Kingdom Calendar Deputy, in charge of maintaining the kingdom's events calendar, so I kept the columns on the scroll that denote the day of the week and the cycle of the moon, integral parts of medieval calendars. Completed in December 2008.
