Edmund’s book
This was my first official book (the earlier experimental prototype doesn’t count). It was created for Lord Edmund Wolfe as an award scroll in the summer and fall of 2006. I created it as a book because 1) books are really, really cool and 2) he was receiving four awards at once, so there was sufficient text to justify the book form. I made lots of mistakes in the process (such as running the grain of the paper in the wrong direction and letting glue seep through the velvet cover). |
