Golden Rose Scroll

This is a tourney prize scroll based on a manuscript of Roman de la Rose at the Bodleian Library (MS Dolce 195). The size is roughly 6 x 8 inches. Done with ground pigments bound with glair, with shell gold accents. Finished in June 2009.
