In life outside of the SCA, I am a wife, mother, and freelance copyeditor. My husband also plays in the SCA as Lord Grettir Tindrson.

After receiving a master’s degree in English from Syracuse University, I moved to Washington, DC, to work in the scholarly book publishing industry. I’ve done everything from acquisitions (negotiating contracts) to production management (supervising the editorial, composition, and printing stages). I lived in and around DC for 8 years before moving to Roanoke, VA, to begin freelancing as a copyeditor. (So if you see any typos on these pages, don’t tell me!
