Calligraphic parchment paper sewn onto a vegetable-tanned goat leather cover lined with blue linen. The leather edging is chrome-tanned pig splits. Thread for sewing the quires and edging is lined thread waxed with beeswax; the decorative threads on the spine are commercial embroidery thread. The button is made of antler. Finished November 2007. |
